This very strange book was first conceived of in 2015 when Diana wrote a poem that turned into a short story that turned into this book. She then taught herself how to cartoon so she could do the illustrations and had the bulk of the book done within just a few months. She then allowed self-doubt and her hatred of capitalism to stop her from doing anything with the book. But now that she has found a publishing alternative that doesn't make her feel like she is contributing to the orphan-crushing machine, she has decided to publish it in 2025.
